Mission Statement

TO CREATE CONSTRUCTIVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR INNER CITY YOUTH THROUGH NO-COST NEIGHBORHOOD MUSIC PROGRAMS.

The lack of constructive opportunities for inner city youth is well known, as are the consequences. Far too many young people in the inner city succumb to drug abuse, alcohol abuse, and crime. Many worthwhile programs have been created to help inner city young people avoid these problems. Most of these programs, however, focus on athletics. There are very few programs for young people who are not interested in participating in sports. P'Tones offers an alternative after-school solution. Unlike after-school activities such as basketball, which most students will not be able to pursue in college, this program offers an opportunity to learn a set of skills that will be useful well into the student's future. Through P'Tones, students will also be able to earn internships at Record Labels, P.R. Firms, and Marketing Firms. We are also proud to announce that students will also be able to earn scholarships to four year institutions to further their education.
